Walk 50 m down the Rue Gasparin – that’s right, the small street that leads towards the Place des Jacobins – and you’ll reach the Globe&Cecil. It’s not just a hotel, but almost a “second home” with a real family atmosphere. Along with the distinctive décor, the individual attention we pay to guests and our delicious breakfasts are just some of the services offered at this 4-star establishment. Whether you’re on a business trip or enjoying a city break, the Globe & Cecil is THE place that will make you want to come back… because your well-being is our priority.

Welcome to your home from home!

In 1850, the hotel was called the Globe & Rome and was one of the establishments officially recognized by the Vatican for its fine reputation.

In 1905, it became the Globe & Cecil, named after the English lord who had bought the hotel.

Since then and for 3 generations, it has been managed by people dedicated to hospitality and service.

This hotel has a distinctive character that attests to its history, as well as to the family values that influence the running of the hotel and the loyalty of its exacting staff… and you will feel this distinctive character in the rooms you stay in during your visits, which are all different and renovated on a continual basis. There are just as many different facets of life as there are doors in the hotel.
